Bassmans latest edition to the Codman series are the new and improved range of double trouble spinnerbaits. Featuring a twin arm system that’s built using a heavier gauged wire, the tensile strength of these spinnerbaits is second to none. Each of the heavy-duty arms carries a single large blade to create maximum flash and pulse in order to attract big fish. The Double Trouble range come rigged with a 125mm soft plastic trailer and stinger. Their visual appeal in the water is first class and the double-armed system helps ride the snags with ease. During their initial trial period they accounted for several huge cod and a number of good sized golden perch. As the Codman series goes, I’m not sure about them being twice as good but from a cod’s point of view they certainly are Double the Trouble.
